1099 and T4a forms for 2020

Here’s the schedule of the HQ Finance regarding the delivery of  the 1099 and T4A forms

1099 – It is scheduled to go out tomorrow.  If in case the DP did not receive it, pls wait until Feb 15 to ask for the electronic copy. We expect some delays due to covid 19.

T4a – This will be sent out by the end of February. If in case the DP did not receive it, pls wait until Mar 15 to ask for the electronic copy. We expect some delays due to covid 19.

Pls email Annellen for the electronic copy of the 1099 and T4a.  



W2G Upgrade Status

According to the Shipping team, the W2G upgrade has been completed and in general it went well. There are a few things to update you all:

1. For order cancellations, we need to make sure we are asking dps and customers to write the RMA number on the returned package. 
Currently, Shipping dept.will create the RMA once the products are back. CSRs should be aware that the RMA# should always be as following and give instructions to dps and customers accordingly:

RMA-(ORIGINAL ORDER NUMBER)-001

This is very important because we will be notifying W2G that our returns will have this number and will be easier to allocate the returns and process refunds faster.

2. We successfully transferred PR and VI orders to W2G. W2G is now able to ship orders to those 2 states via Surepost. Surepost
service is an alliance between UPS and USPS. Ultimately, USPS delivers the packages. We still wait for IT to remove the filters 
and enable PO BOXES and military addresses in DTX and EVO. Once this is in place, we will send you an update again, we will prefer for these two states to provide PO BOX addresses instead of physical addresses as this will reduce the amounts of returns.  Please also know we will terminate the contract with Yobel (for PR) and going forward will be W2G shipping everything for the US.

3. W2G only has UPS address validation in their system  and is not able to verify addresses for PR and VI. So daily we are seeing orders we have to  manually verify and correct so that they can be shipped. Yann is currently helping with this task.
4. We will get W2G accesses for the new platform. Once the accesses are created, Rebeca will set up a quick training session for us.


OGPay Load Money option: US bank account vs Credit Card

Apparently our agents are giving incorrect information abt the timeframe of the Load money option.  Pls see below.  
1) US bank account – 3-4 banking days to complete

2) Credit card- Immediate upon approval of the micros. Once micros are approved for that specific card, it will then be in real-time

Pls remind your team that they can verify this information by going to your team’s personal OGPay account as this is not available in the ogpay uscanda account.  

Any discrepancies with the time frame must be reported to us.  If you have any questions, pls let us know.
